Meet the Trainer

Avery Hall

Founder of Water Bones Movement Arts, and a life-long lover of all things ‘movement’, Avery is a dancer / dance educator, an innovative personal trainer, and a somatic coach who helps women deepen their connection to their bodies, reclaim their relationship to fitness, and truly come alive inside of themselves.

She believes that we’re *all* wired to enjoy movement, and that an aversion to exercise is simply a symptom of a deeper cause - be it a history of ‘icky’ movement experiences, feelings of ‘not belonging’ in fitness spaces, a preventative disconnection from the body, etc…

Since 2018, Avery has helped countless clients reclaim their relationship with movement & body through in-gym strength training, in-studio dancing & somatic experiencing, and in-depth mindset coaching.

She’s the coach for the “I never move and don’t know where to start” kind of woman, the ‘active artist’ who wants to meet more of herself through dance training & performative work, and the women somewhere (anywhere!) in between.

“What I love about movement is that it shows us where we’re stuck, and helps us break free. It reveals to us the infinite nature of our potential, and challenges us to rise. It breathes life into the rest of us, allowing us to bring forward our strongest, most vibrant, most embodied self as we adventure through life.” - Ave

When she’s not with her clients, you can catch Avery writing, frolicking in the forest, working as a Somatic Relationship Coach inside of her private practice, at her fav cafe, or (most likely) in the gym getting her butt whooped by her own coach (and loving it!)

"I have always been a sporty person but I am amazed at how much better I feel since starting weight training. I have had a few injuries last year - linked to other sports and getting older - and Bailey was able to adapt my workouts so that I didn't have to stop training. My whole family now goes to Bailey. The family workouts are tough but a lot of fun."
